How common are health problems in golden retrievers?

not sure whether i should get a purebreed, or a mix with border collie. what do you guys think?

Hi! We have to see him/her, can you post a photo please? Your question: How common are health problems in Golden Retriever? It depends to parents and pedigree in general: if are coupled two unhealthy dogs (or only one of these: they should be checked for all the hereditary diseases) , the risk is high. But a serious breeder shouldn't do this. Where did you get it?
